Whimsy Village is a creative collaboration between textile artist Yuying Wang, model Zib, and myself. All three of us are from rural areas in China, sharing common memories of food habits and everyday materials. Upon moving to London, we were struck by the city’s concrete and steel environment, which inspired us to reflect on the simplicity of Chinese villages. Our project seeks to find a new way of life in London through the design of bags and accessories.

The concept of "Bag It, Refresh It" embodies Whimsy Village’s philosophy—every item placed inside these bags is given new life, becoming fresh and vibrant.
